Last updated: October 20, 2026 · Version 1.1
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between IPVectors Inc., 1700 Seventh Ave., Suite 2100, Seattle, WA 98101 (“IPVectors”, “we”, “us”) and the person or organization that registers for or uses IPVerifier (“you”). By creating an account, ticking “I accept”, or using IPVerifier, you agree to this Agreement. If you accept for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not register for or use IPVerifier.
Subject to this Agreement, IPVectors grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use IPVerifier, free of charge, for your internal business purposes, solely to review and validate Reporter Reports.
IPVerifier is licensed, not sold. IPVectors and its licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.
IPVerifier is designed and licensed for use only with Reporter Reports. You may not use IPVerifier to process documents, data or reports that were not generated by Reporter.
IPVerifier checks each report’s provenance signature. It will refuse a report that has no valid signature or that has been altered since Reporter issued it. You may not alter, forge, copy, remove or attempt to circumvent a provenance signature or the check.
You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of IPVerifier, except as the law expressly permits despite this restriction;
reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble IPVerifier, or attempt to derive its source code, prompts, models or methods, except as the law expressly permits despite this restriction;
rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or host IPVerifier, or offer it as a service to third parties;
access IPVerifier or the IPVectors service by any means other than the add-in and the interfaces IPVectors provides for it, or by automated means such as scripts or bots;
circumvent or interfere with any usage limit, access control, provenance check or security feature;
use IPVerifier to build or improve a competing product or service, or to benchmark it for publication without IPVectors’ written consent;
use IPVerifier in breach of any law, any third party’s rights, or the terms of an AI Provider; or
remove or alter any proprietary notice.
You must register to use IPVerifier. You agree to give accurate information, to keep it current, and to verify your email address. Each person may hold one account unless IPVectors agrees otherwise. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@ipvectors.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
6.1 Purpose. So that you can evaluate IPVerifier, IPVectors may let you run Sample Reports using IPVectors’ Test Licenses. Test Licenses may be used only inside IPVerifier, only with Sample Reports that IPVectors provides for that purpose, and only up to the limit IPVectors sets (currently 8 runs per account). IPVectors may change the limit at any time.
6.2 No access to credentials. Test Licenses are held on IPVectors’ service and are never provided to you. You may not attempt to discover, extract, intercept, copy or reuse any Test License credential, or to use Test Licenses outside IPVerifier or beyond the limit, including by creating more than one account.
6.3 Discretion to discontinue. Test Licenses are a courtesy. IPVectors reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue, suspend or limit use of its Test Licenses at any time without notice.
6.4 Abuse. IPVectors reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disable the registration of any user who abuses the Test Licenses, the license in section 2, or this Agreement, without notice and without liability.
6.5 No entitlement. Nothing in this Agreement entitles you to any amount of usage of Test Licenses, and unused runs have no value.
7.1 To use IPVerifier beyond the Sample Reports and limits in section 6, including to run your own Reporter Reports or additional Sample Reports you request at www.ipvectors.com, you must obtain and enter Your Keys.
7.2 You are solely responsible for Your Keys, for all charges your AI Providers and data providers make, and for complying with their terms. Your relationship with each provider is between you and that provider.
7.3 You authorize IPVectors to store Your Keys in encrypted form and to use them only to perform the operations you request in IPVerifier. You can remove Your Keys at any time.
7.4 IPVectors is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security or conduct of any AI Provider or data provider.
8.1 Your content. You keep all rights in the reports and other content you submit. You grant IPVectors a limited license to host, process and transmit that content solely to provide IPVerifier to you.
8.2 Processing by AI Providers. To perform an audit, IPVerifier sends the relevant report text and source text to AI Providers. You are responsible for deciding whether content is suitable for that processing, including under any duty of confidentiality or privilege you owe. IPVerifier’s Security tab describes IPVectors’ understanding of each provider’s data-handling commitments. That description is a representation of the providers’ published commitments, not an audit or a guarantee.
8.3 Unpublished matters. You may not use IPVerifier to retrieve information about a patent application from a public source unless the application is published, and you may submit an office action on an unpublished matter only if you are authorized to do so.
8.4 Personal data. IPVectors collects and uses registration and usage data as described in the IPVectors Privacy Policy at https://ipvectors.com/privacy. Where IPVectors processes personal data on your behalf in providing IPVerifier, it does so as a processor acting on your documented instructions. A data processing addendum incorporating the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses is available on request and forms part of this Agreement once executed.
8.5 Usage data. IPVectors may collect and use data about how IPVerifier is used and performs, to operate, secure and improve its products, provided it does not disclose your content or identify you to third parties except as the Privacy Policy allows.
IPVerifier is an assistive tool. Output is generated in part by artificial intelligence, may be incomplete or wrong, and must be reviewed by a qualified professional before anyone relies on it. Output is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship with IPVectors. Deadline and status information is informational only and is not a docketing system. You remain solely responsible for your professional judgment, your filings, your deadlines and the advice you give.
IPVectors and its licensors own IPVerifier, Reporter and all related intellectual property rights. As between you and IPVectors, you own the Output generated from your content, subject to IPVectors’ rights in IPVerifier and to any third-party rights in the underlying material. If you send IPVectors suggestions or feedback, IPVectors may use them without restriction or payment.
IPVerifier runs inside Microsoft Word and relies on third-party services. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms. Microsoft is not a party to this Agreement and has no obligation to provide support for IPVerifier. Where you obtain IPVerifier through Microsoft AppSource or the Microsoft commercial marketplace, your use is additionally subject to the Microsoft marketplace terms of use then in force. If any term of this Agreement conflicts with a term Microsoft requires of marketplace offerings, the Microsoft term governs to the extent of that conflict and the remainder of this Agreement continues in effect. IPVectors, not Microsoft, is responsible for IPVerifier and for its support.
IPVectors may change, suspend or discontinue IPVerifier or any feature at any time. IPVectors may update this Agreement by posting a new version and asking you to accept it at your next sign-in. If you do not accept the new version, you must stop using IPVerifier.
This Agreement starts when you accept it and continues until terminated. You may stop using IPVerifier and ask us to close your account at any time. IPVectors may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including under section 6.4. When this Agreement ends, the license in section 2 ends and you must stop using IPVerifier. Sections 3, 4, 6.2, 8.5, 9, 10 and 13 to 18 continue after termination.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, IPVERIFIER, THE SAMPLE REPORTS, THE TEST LICENSES AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IPVECTORS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IPVERIFIER WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY LEGAL PURPOSE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, IPVECTORS AND ITS LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS, OR FOR ANY MISSED DEADLINE OR LOSS OF RIGHTS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR IPVERIFIER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. IPVECTORS’ TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR IPVERIFIER WILL NOT EXCEED US $100. THESE LIMITS APPLY TO ALL CLAIMS AND THEORIES OF LIABILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You will defend and indemnify IPVectors, its affiliates and their personnel against any third-party claim, and related costs, arising from your content, your use of IPVerifier in breach of this Agreement or the law, or your breach of an AI Provider’s terms.
This indemnity applies in full, and extends to any claim arising from a decision to file or not to file, to assert, to challenge, to settle or to abandon any patent, application or proceeding, and to any reliance placed on IPVectors output by you or by any person to whom you provide it.
IPVectors is not a law firm, is not registered to practise before the United States Patent and Trademark Office or any other patent office, and provides no legal advice, legal opinion or representation of any kind. Nothing produced by IPVerifier or by IPVectors Reporter is legal advice, a legal opinion, a freedom-to-operate clearance, a validity or invalidity opinion, or a substitute for the judgement of qualified counsel. You are responsible for obtaining your own legal advice and for every professional judgement you make, or decline to make, on the basis of our products and services.
You will comply with all export control, sanctions and other laws that apply to your use of IPVerifier. You confirm that you are not located in, and will not use IPVerifier from, a country or for a person subject to applicable trade restrictions.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, Washington have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement, and each party submits to that jurisdiction.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or to IPVerifier that is not resolved informally within thirty days of written notice will be settled by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, seated in King County, Washington, and conducted in English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Each party brings claims only in its individual capacity. Class, collective, consolidated and representative proceedings are waived, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
Nothing in this section waives a right that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you. Where a mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own courts or under your own law, that right is preserved.
This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and IPVectors about IPVerifier and replaces any earlier understanding on that subject. If you also hold a Reporter agreement with IPVectors, that agreement governs Reporter, and this Agreement governs IPVerifier. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement without IPVectors’ written consent; IPVectors may assign it to an affiliate or a successor. Notices to you may be sent to your registered email address. Notices to IPVectors must be sent to 1700 Seventh Ave., Suite 2100, Seattle, WA 98101, and support@ipvectors.com.
